Senior Creative Designer

Do you have an eye for great design? Does your love of typography, color, and design influence everything you make, from a napkin drawing to a total brand redesign? Do you have what it takes to be the driving force behind the aesthetics and visual design across a range of properties for one of the fastest growing companies in the country?

As the Senior Creative Designer, you’ll be instrumental in helping us establish and grow Optoro’s visual language, brand and and general aesthetic across a variety of properties including our e-commerce brand BLINQ, our Enterprise SaaS application OptiTurn, and company collateral. Reporting to the Director of UX, the Senior Creative Designer will work with various business owners and internal stakeholders to establish, redefine and build a brand-new design direction for Optoro and its audiences.



  • Define, build, and lead Optoro’s efforts in establishing our visual design language, brand and overall aesthetic
  • Design and implement creative materials for print, web, packaging and more! (including but not limited to: icons, website banners, murals, client presentations, investor decks, print brochures, business cards, mascots, posters, logos, and promotional displays)
  • Create, maintain and enforce a thorough and consistent style guide across the company
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and the UI/UX team to define, create and implement a cutting-edge brand design
  • Express complex ideas in a simple, clever and appealing way
  • Participate in brainstorming and concept development
  • Lead and manage a small, but growing visual design team



  • Bachelor’s Degree in a design-related field
  • At least five years of relevant experience, including experience branding companies and organizations
  • Extensive Adobe Creative Suite experience (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Exceptional knowledge of current design industry best practices and trends
  • Proven ability to create illustrations and assets from scratch
  • Strong communication skills and experience consulting directly with stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, consistently meet deadlines and champion projects from concept to completion within a fast paced environment
  • A great attitude, a lack of ego, and a great team player
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS
  • Experience making infographics
  • Ability/experience creating motion graphics/video compositing/editing
