  • "Located at 500 Market Street, it was built in 1915 as a theater and was a palace by the standard of the day. The auditorium and balcony seated 2,000 people, designed to offer a completely unobstructed view of the screen and stage. As population shifted to the suburbs, the Queen Theater closed in April of 1959 and has remained largely vacant since."
