On top of the Bijenkorf carport in Amsterdam stands a pigeon hotel. Pigeons sleep there and they get fed by volunteers. The eggs they lay, are replaced by fake ones. This way the city tries to prevent to have too much pigeons in the city. Volunteers Betty and Herman de Jong clean the hotel on Thursday.
