Aspects of modern life have helped to keep us estranged from our human nature. We perpetually move forward without reason and we make everyeffort to avoid any understanding of this motion. Television, cinema, and now the internet and videogames help take the focus off the loss of true existence. We remain in a continuous state of distraction which helps us ignore a state of self-realization. In brief moments of lucid clarity, we are able to realize theemptiness of this existence.
