The aerial acrobats amongst others the trapeze-artists  and the tight-rope-walkers are like a classical shadow-play. Their motion up in the air draws dreamlike shadows on the floor of the ring creating another dimension of the act up on the sky of the ring. They are the phantoms of the circus, who playfully present their talent in the reflector-light, a double game of the ring and the areal- the above.
