This is an on-going series of various places I have visited. When I view this body of images I see a simple connection. At the time I photographed each environment - most of which are mundane and commonplace - I remember feeling like a visitor to the landscape. This awareness of being a stranger was of particular interest to me, enough so that the photographs I took at each place still personally evoke a sense of being an outsider. I attribute this alien feeling to each scene's newly discovered nature when I viewed them and expect this perception will likely resurface as I travel to new places in the future.
